TOP LIST OF “TOUCHING” GAY MOVIES PART III

Finally I come to the last part of trilogy post of top list of touching gay movies. And through this part, I will reveal the top three of the list which I hope you will agree with me. Okey, let’s start to countdown the top three of touching gay movies. But before that, I wanna tell you that I won’t give bad criticism to the top three list because for me the top three means without bad comment (just for this list actually). Okey, here they are:

03. No Night is too Long

The first time I read the title of the movie, I’ve already had huge passion to watch this 2002 BBC movie production, and thanks God a Youtube user uploaded this movie. And yeah, after spending not much money and time to download and watch this movie, I feel totally satisfied with this movie. It’s beyond my expectation. And recently, I knew the fact that this movie is a dark film adaptation of Barbara Vine’s novel about a passionate gay relationship gone wrong. For me, it’s a suspenful and terrific thriller scores in all departments about obsessions and shallow love. The director knew exactly how to make a suspenful novel from Barbara Vine into different taste of gay movie.

This movie showed that love is like ambiguous experience. It combines bertrayal and dangerous game, traps and forms of propriety, soft lies and subtle temptation into dark suspenful film which played the human emotions. Why I can say that this dark film can play human emotions is because this movie delivers a story about the value of truth and burden of gesture which represents the real human relationship nuances. I also got the lesson about the consequences of the decisions you make everyday which slaps me hard in my mind and heart.

And Lee Williams is actually being the main hero of the movie to be my top three of touching gay movies. He has completely internalized his complex character, bringing it to the scenes with marvelous conviction in a display oif faultless acting. He showed tremendous acting as complex selfish character as Tim Cornish in this movie. He is the soul of the movie which makes the movie being such worthy movie to bee seen. And because of the perfect acting from his expression and gesture, it makes me fall in love with him and changing my types of gorgeous man.  Doesn’t believe with what I’ve already said, just watch the movie or download it.

02. Dream Boy

Dream boy is my second top list of gay movies which I’ve ever watched. For me, this movie is very touching and making ry in silent after watching it. It defines the recklessness of first love, especially its inarticulateness which is only started by the phrase “touch me.” Yeah, the two young flowers fall in love each other because of the intense of sight and the pharse “touch me” which makes these two young boys build tighter relationship.

Clearly the dream boy delivers the story between Nathan who is an intelligent ,but shy, adolescent boy who wants to escape from his abusive and violent father and Roy who is a senior at same high school as Nathan and school bus driver. From my angle, they share “pure” and deep forbidden love. Unfortunately, a tragedy happened at the end of the movie which makes this movie being the sweet combination between ghost story and gay tragedy.

Perhaps, the story is cliché and totally common but james Bolton knows exactly to direct his small casts through wooden dialogue and the didactic prodding of  Richard Buckner’s guitar score which executes the sensitivity of first love between the two young flowers. Unfortunately, this movie is not winning any award. So, if you wanna see a touching tragic gay movies, just download this movie

01. Brokeback Mountain

It’s undeniable fact that this movie is one of the best long lasting gay movies in the world. From the director crouching tiger hidden dragon, Ang Lee, this movie totally stunning and extraordinary. He knows exactly how to combine great literature and great cinema into virtual forensic vision of desire, denial, and emotional cost.

Personally, the first time I watched the trailer of the movie, I directly falled in love and can’t wait any longer to see the movie as soon as possible. And when I saw it for the first time, I totally couldn’t move my concentration over my monitor (since I just can watch the movie from my PC). Even, I can’t breath and cried at the end of the movie at that time. I hope you agree that this movie is totally tempting and personal. It’s not something shocking that this movie won many awards around the world in 2005.
